Big Hog The framed, signed print scene depicts famed WWII ace Tom Blackburn's Corsair plane "BIG HOG" just before he splashes a Japanese Tony fighter on November 11, 1943. Tom Blackburn was the skipper of the USN's famed fighter squadron VF-17, Jolly Rogers. Lt. Commander Blackburn recorded 11 confirmed victories, 5 probable's and 3 damaged. He was awarded the Navy Cross, 2 Distinguished Flying Crosses and 2 Air Medals. Included is a copy of Commander Blackburn's book, "The Jolly Rogers."
